Grafana drilldown feature of every node

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    v8.5.4

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    drill down each node in the dashboard to show additional details(metadata) about it

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    suppose i show 5 top consuming AWS RDS instance in a dashboard. Then I want to hover my mouse on top of each of those instances, then I want to show additional details about those like instance type, db engine type details, endpoint etc based on additional processing(whatever way it can be- I am flexible)

  • What happened?
    Currently there is no feature i found about it

Is there a way to achieve this? If someone has worked on it before and can help will be great.

I believe that the kind of feature you are looking for: drill-down features inside a panel, or something like nested dashboards, is not available.

But there is a lot of interest in it and it is under development
