Alert stuck in Pending State

I am trying to setup alerts on grafana. However, in my case the Alerts Page keeps saying “Pending” and never moves to the OK state.

Is the alert supposed to automatically move from Pending state to Ok?
Any guesses on why it hasnt transitioned in my case?

Hi,

Please include example alert including what data source, metric query and alert settings. Any errors in the grafana server log?
