Hello
I’m facing problems to install grafana on my linux VPS and the IP used by the VPS seems to be blacklisted by grafana !
When I try to download the gpg.key with wget, I got a “403 access denied” in response, the same work perfectly from another VPS and IP
Thanks for your help

Hi @usman.ahmad
I’m trying to install the last Entreprise on ubuntu 22.04 LTS
I’m following this tuto Install on Debian or Ubuntu | Grafana documentation
But when I try to download the gpg.key I got a 403 error from grafana repo
As you can see in this log
admin@VPS:~$ sudo apt update
Err:4 \https://apt.grafana.com stable InRelease
403 Access Denied [IP: 151.101.22.217 443]
E: Failed to fetch \https://apt.grafana.com/dists/stable/InRelease 403 Access Denied [IP:151.101.22.217 443]
Hi @pedromachado,
You can check this post related to GPG issues.
Not sure, but as you are using Grafan Enterprise, do you have a support contract too?
When I try to download grafana .deb to avoid be blocked by apt update command I got this message “HTTP request sent, awaiting response… 451 geofence:blocked”
I believe. my VPS IP is realy blocked somewhere
Thanks for the detailed reply.
What is your location if you don’t mind sharing?
Can you please answer this;
@usman.ahmad I’m from France but my VPS are in US (seattle)
About grafana I’m trying to install the open source OSS
Thanks and as you are using Grafan Enterprise, do you have a support contract too?
I’m not using grafana entreprise but grafana OSS
Thanks and my bad as now I see that you are trying to install the Enterprise version of Ubuntu.
Well, I really don’t know why this error is appearing and would recommend if you can open a bug report about this in our official GitHub repository using this link.
Provide all the information (you can simply copy/paste your data + screenshot from here to there).
Lastly, paste the link to your GitHub issue here in this post so that all other community users can also track it. I will also add more additional information to it
As a possible workaround, try to install Grafana via the .deb package instead of apt-get pulling from the repository.
You can check this installation guide on how to do it.
Let us know if this helps.
