i got promtail working for the logs coming out of pods in my kubernetes cluster
i also got grafana-agent working for the metrics side, i can see the k8s cluster metrics
however, i am trying to use grafana-agent to send logs to loki with no luck
i noticed that on the docs, grafana-agent for k8s metrics were supposed to be a deployment
and loki as a daemonset, it actually make sense since loki ingests from the node while cluster metrics are not. 2 questions:
- anyone one who is successful on getting k8s logs to loki through grafana-agent?
- can we unify grafana-agent as a daemonset handling both cluster metrics and logs?
