Grafana checkmk plugin Error message: Fetch error: 404 Not Found Instantiating

i have grafana freshly set up on my debian server.
I am trying to integrate the plugin from checkmk.
If I go by the introduction then some things have changed.
root@linux# mv -v grafana-checkmk-datasource-2.0b2 /var/lib/grafana/plugins/grafana-checkmk-datasource

Plugins are not to be found under the path.
Is this path correct?
/usr/share/grafana/public/app/plugins/datasource/

I get checkmk displayed but get an error
Error message: Fetch error: 404 Not Found Instantiating

What can I do to make it work?

is this a third-party data source authored by the community? Do you have the repo? You might need to file an issue there…
