How to deal with noisy No Value alerts?

I’m looking for a good way to deal with noisy alerts due to No Value.

It seems like from time to time Grafana will fire these for whatever reason. I suspect due to being restarted or something similar. Unlike No Data or Error conditions, these alerts are not renamed to DatasourceNoData or DatasourceError, so I cannot filter these out.

Is there any good way to reduce the noise produced by these?
How does No Value differs from No Data?

There is some good advice in this blog post for how to avoid flapping alert in the new unified alerting:

That focuses on Synthetic Monitoring. Our problem is with regular Grafana alerts.

ugh, yes, my bad

what grafana version?

Can you confirm: are you using the new Unified Alerting platform or the legacy platform?
