How to display domain name instead of ip address in cadvisor and node exporter dashboard

In the node dropdown it shows IP address as this is not static config , so internal IP address shows up what container ip nic has got.

@niceguysan are you trying to use a ore-built dashboard from grafana.com?

can you screenshot the settings for that template variable?

no the grafana instance is running via container, sorry for late reply .

I have not defined a template variable yet, or maybe I am miss understanding.
