Ideas adding valve status to temperature/humity diagram

Hello there,
I am visualizing my heating in grafana from influx. I have a diagram with temperature/humidity like this:

. Below it, there is a diagram of the status of the heating valve (0/1 for on/off). The problem is that because of the y axis the horizontal scaling is not the same. It would be nicer to have the valve state in the same diagram, but that breaks auto scaling.
Do you have any idea how to integrate the diagram? Something like changing background or annotations or horizontal bars?
Would it also be possible to integrate window status?
