Mysql connection parameters

I was wondering if there was a way to pass additional connection parameters to the mysql datasource.
In particular I was looking for setting query timeouts and loadbalancing options.

Thats currently not possible. Please create an issue for it on github.com/grafana/grafana describing what parameters you would like and we might add support for it.
