Parse "vertica://dbadmin:admin": invalid port ":admin" after host

Dear Team,

I am using one of vertica plugin’s to add new vertica data source.
https://github.com/vertica/vertica-grafana-datasource/releases/download/v1.0.0/vertica-grafana-datasource-1.0.0.zip.

Plugin has been added to C:\Program Files\GrafanaLabs\grafana\plugins-bundled location,
Grafana service has been rebooted.

while tried to add vertica source i get below error.
parse “vertica://dbadmin:admin”: invalid port “:admin” after host

any idea why it’s unable to parse the connection string!?

appreciate any support.

I don’t know enough about Vertica, but vertica://dbadmin:admin doesn’t seem to be able valid URL as the hostname is missing. Instead, it assumes dbadmin is the host, and admin is the port. Also, using vertica as the protocol seems suspicious to me.
