Queries timeout at 30s for AWS Athena Datasource

    Running an AWS Athena which takes longer than 60s

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    Using the Athena datasource

  • What happened?
    Queries timeout at 30s on Grafana but not on AWS Athena console

  • What did you expect to happen?
    Configure a timeout value for Grafana queries. I have set GF_DATAPROXY_TIMEOUT to 600s but that didn’t help

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.
    I see no data in results when it takes 31s

Hi,

Do you see any errors in the grafana logs? Have you searched for related issues in the repo for that datasource? Also, it doesn’t look like that repo has seen any development for 6+ months…
