What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?

Grafana v9.5.2

What are you trying to achieve?

Almost all of our dashboards have the same 3 filters (Region/Cluster/Workload). Frequently we’ll find ourselves jumping between dashboards and repeatedly entering the same information across all of these dropdowns and selecting the same timerange, which is very time consuming, error prone and tedious.

Is there a way that these selections as well as the selected time-window can be “remembered” when navigating from dashboard to dashboard?

You can pass variable values via url parameters (check your browser url when you change variable value - all variables are there). So just create links (e. g. datalinks) between your dashboards, which will have all current dashboard variable in the generated url. Then use those links for navigation between dashboards.

yea, we’ve done that on some dashboards, but we have over 100 total, it’s not realistic for us to link all dashboards to all other dashboards and keep the links updated.
