Specific Colors for Specific values

In my DB. I have numeric states for a different value 0…7. I can text map a value to a number. I would also like to do this with a color. 1=red, 2=blue, etc

is there a way to implement this on the value mapping side? Threshold would not work since I have seven discrete values

There is no support for this yet (you can only specify two thresholds and two 3 colors)

no nothing like this on the roadmap, and no feature request I think, might be one actually
