What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
9.2.4 on Raspberry -
What are you trying to achieve?
Display rainfall with using bars, which show sum of all data within a group of measures… grouped by timestamp (sumn within one minute) -
How are you trying to achieve it?
Nothing special, and usually the display is fine -
What happened?
in special cases the bars are suddenly not looking like small needles, but very big bars.
Example shows same data, with same timespan, but moved over time -
What did you expect to happen?
No change in how the bars look like -
Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?
if necessary yes, how do i do that? -
Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.

No.
Pictures attached show the same data and the timespan displayed in the chart is exactly the same. First picture shows the raindata in the middle of the chart.
Second picture shows same data at left side of the chart.
Third picture same… except that i did move the time-window few minutes forward.
Fourth picture the same… again moved for 2 minutes forward.
