Too long for grafana to see a zabbix item

Using the zabbix plugin… when a new item is created at zabbix, takes a lot of time for grafana to see it (by querying it at the group -> host -> application -> Item drop down fields… would like to know if grafana to zabbix plugin has some kind of “refresh interval” button or something that controls how often grafana goes and asks zabbix for new items…
