Version requirements for Grafana 4.2 Setup

Please provide the the versions of

nodejs
node (installed through nvm)

for local setup of 4.2 on Ubuntu machine.

for development or just installing and running an official release build? If you just want to download there are no requirements.

For development read the building from source guide on docs.

Hello @torkel ,

Its for development purpose. But you recently mentioned that we have to use node 6.9 for grafana setup which is wrong in http://docs.grafana.org/project/building_from_source/ .

So can you please specify all the versions clearly.

Node 6.x, and go 1.8.x
