Add New Datasource MS SQL Server

Hello,

I cannot achieve to connect a MS SQL datasource. The datasource is located on the same computer.

• What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
  Grafana is 10.0.0
  OS is Win 10 Entreprise LTSC
  SQL Server Express is 19.1 (2019)

• What are you trying to achieve?
  Connect Grafana to a new datasource

• How are you trying to achieve it?
  

• What happened?
  

  

• What did you expect to happen?
  New datasource connected !

This is really more of a ms sql issue than a grafana issue

Is the SQL Server Browser service running? if so try using the ip address of machine instead of DESKTOP-B5…

Are there any other instance running on that desktop?

Yes it was just that which was missing :
the SQL Server Browser service was not started :
