I am testing Grafana 8.1.2 with new alerting system enabled and looking to customize the subject of the email. I disabled alert grouping so each match is triggering separate alert but when doing this, all tag values are appended to email subject.
I looked into templates but seems like I can only customize email contents.

I am also looking to be able to customize the alert email subject. Were you ever able to resolve this?

This PR adds a new templated config t… o the email notifier for the subject of the email. This is part of a larger standardization of templated message fields in notifiers: https://github.com/grafana/grafana/issues/49716
