will the 4.x branch get any more updates?
I’m currently planning our upgrade to 5.x, our security dept will give added impetus to the upgrade if no future updates for 4.x are planned.

We have talked about introducing an LTS version of Grafana for customers who pay for support but we do not currently have one as it would not be viable without financial support. (Nobody is going to backport bug fixes during the time they spend on OSS).
So no, no more updates planned for the 4.x branch.
