Unable to connect Grafana cloud to local Postresql database or docker based Postresql DB

I am new to Grafana and able to publish the dashboard locally using data from local Postresql DB but not I want to connect the same DB with Grafana cloud either using local db or Docker based DB. I have tried opening the port 5432 but no help.

What do you mean a local db? Local server in your company network?

I meant local database installed on my personal laptop or as a docker image.

Is your ip address public? This is more of a networking issue with your database sever than a grafana issue
