I’m extremely new user for Grafana and am a bit lost. I’m trying to setup a dashboard for monitoring basic SQL Server performance metrics. I’ve seen some templates created by folks but they seem to have dependencies on other products like InfluxDB, etc…Is there any direct path in which I can get a dashboard to use SQL DMV’s or perf counters to view the instance performance? I like the idea of Grafana since it is cross DBMS platform but I’m stuck on the SQL side since I don’t see a direct path. I’d be happy with a template or any documentation that would lead to this. Unfortunately the Grafana doc for SQL is for what appears to be more application timeframe related. Or am I barking up the wrong tree and this isn’t what Grafana can be used for?
