When the alert can support Elasticsearch

I would like to know when the alert can support Elasticsearch, and now so many companies use ES to do log analysis, which is a very useful feature.

we hope to include it in Grafana v5.0 , beta release in early october / stable in november

Hi Torkel,

I hope you are doing well.
I’ve recently installed Grafana v5.1.1 and alert feature for ElasticSearch isn’t working-

" The datasource does not support alerting queries "

Is this something which you have already planned for the upcoming versions?
