Where can I edit the allowOldPasswords parameter on Windows?

Hello.

I try my first steps with Grafana on Windows, but I have a problem connecting to older mysql versions.
I have no idea where to find the editable parameter in the config files and updating mysql-databases is not an option at the moment.

How can I fix this?

The error message:

this user requires old password authentication. If you still want to use it, please add ‘allowOldPasswords=1’ to your DSN.

i remember i had the exact same problem and ultimately i gave up. I’m wondering in case this could appear again. I don’t really want to get some problems with my soups project. that’s why i’m wondering if you found a solution
