Grafana Throw Error when using Unit: Locale Format on Negative Decimal Value (Table chart)

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    Version: Grafana v7.1.0-beta1 (4d1ea72426)
    OS: Windows 10 Pro

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    I want to show a negative decimal value on table with formating number: Unit > Locale Format

  • How are you trying to achieve it?

  1. I create a table and put my query to it.
  2. I change the format number to locale format by:
  • go to overides
  • chose field > add overides properties > unit > Misc > locale format

  • What happened?
    Grafana give me error message : “maximumFractionDigits value is out of range”

  • What did you expect to happen?
    I’m not expect this error happen, I want to show my data with locale format even the value is negative decimal
